Dr Khoza
holds many distinguished directorships, which include
being the Founding Chairman of AKA Capital, the Chairman
of Nedbank and the NEPAD Business Foundation, Polokwane
International Airport, and Akani Leisure (Pty) Limited
and Aka Resources Holdings.
He currently holds directorships at the JSE Securities
Exchange, Corobrik (Pty) Limited, Protea Hospitality
Limited, Gold Reef Casino Resorts Limited.
Furthermore, Dr Khoza is a leading proponent of a new
management culture and leadership based on inclusively,
Afrocentricity and Ubuntu. As an advocate of African-led
globally competitive economics and industries from the
mother continent, he is a distinguished consultant,
lecturer, and has been an active change agent in the
business community for the past three decades.
Currently Dr Khoza is a Fellow and President of the
Institute of Directors in Southern Africa, an Executive
Committee Member of the World Business Council for
Sustainable Development, and Member of International
Business Council of the World Economic Forum. He is also
a member and past director and patron of the Black
Management Forum (BMF), a former council member of the
South African Institute of Management, and a member of
the Strategic Management Society of Southern Africa.
In recognition of his leadership skills, he was the
recipient of the 2001 Leadership in Practice Award from
the University of South Africa (UNISA) – School of
Business Leadership, the 2000 Excellence in Business
Management Award from the University of the North, and
the 1997 Black Management Forum (BMF) Presidential
Achievers Award.
